We're the Gallo family and we've decided to build our house with hospitality in mind.

Why "L'albero e le stelle"("The tree and the stars")?

Just like trees are continously transforming and alive, our home also wants to be a living environment, which is gradually enriched with many stories.

Moreover, thanks to the position where we are, we often can admire the spectacular night sky, which reminds us of the beauty of nature around us.

At the confluence of 3 valleys of the Maritime Alps (candidate for the patrimony Unesco) and 50 mi from the Ligurian sea and Côte d'Azur, Borgo san Dalmazzo is in a favourable position for mountain, as well as also seaside lovers.

Like the tree, our house lives off of only things that are strictly necessary and nothing more; as a matter of fact, we've decided to build it according to ecostenibility criteria that we have had at heart: the use of hemp fiber and wood fiber, visible wainscot on the roof and walls, exclusive treatment with natural oil and wax, as well as the presence of a photovoltaic system and solar panels for the electric hot water production.

The natural insulation allows the rooms to be thermically efficient assuring coolness during the summer and pleasant temperatures during the winter, with low environmental impact by our heating system.
